Isabelle Huang, known by her friends and family as Bellee,

is a multidisciplinary artist working across the visual and performing arts. She grew up in Manila, Philippines, and is completing her undergraduate degree at NYU Gallatin School of Individualized study. She concentrates on the intersection between critical social theory, phenomenology, political ecologies, and the visual arts in postcolonial societies. The relationship between lived experience, cultural memory, and land manifests deeply in her artistic work.

In her early years, she was a trainee under Steps Dance Studio and has been nationally and internationally recognized in ballet, contemporary, and jazz. She spent her freshman year of university as a Dance Major at NYU Tisch School of the Arts before expanding into multidisciplinary art at NYU Gallatin.

In both her academic and artistic work she explores the mediums of photography, film, dance, sculpture, collage, and design. With a deep passion for marine conservation and exploration, she is a PADI certified diver, a recreational free-diver, sailor, and surfer.
