2009-Present
Everything Is Personal is a collection of photographs taken in moments that resist novelization. The three sections—Camaraderie in Chaos, Naps are Now Communal, and Traces of Ownership—move between the relational, the intimate, and the indexical. Whether it be the shared, spilled blood, or the vulnerability of joint rest, or the writings on the wall that mark someone’s passing by, the times in which these images were captured in never demanded recording. This is where the personal lies.
